Not sure who your advisor is?   

1. Log in to MyNKU
2. Select the "Student Self-Service" tab
   
3. Scroll down to the "My Records" section 
   
4. Click “My Advisors”
   

You can also view the for contacts and scheduling links. 

Holds may keep you from enrolling during the registration window or impact other processes. 

1. View any holds on your myNKU account and click “display holds”. 
2. See the for additional hold explanations and contact information.

1. To navigate to your registration cart, log-in to your myNKU. 
2. Click the "Student Self-Service" tab. 
3. Scroll down to "Academics". 
4. Click "Online Registration”. 
5. If needed, choose your Program, then choose the term. You can now use the search to locate courses.
6. From here you can also add courses to your registration cart which will allow you to store courses you would like to register for. Remember, putting courses in your cart does not secure your seat in the class. During your registration window, you still need to complete the process in MyNKU.

Occasionally, you may run into an error message. There are a few reason this may happen such as the course being full, not having satisfied the course pre-requisite, the course being a part of a learning community, or being offered to a restricted population such as high school students. You can reach out to your advisor if you think you are eligible but are uncertain.  

Running a check also prompts you to obtain necessary permissions for courses, if needed.  Some courses have a pre-requisite of department or instructor consent you will need to contact the department and request a permit in order to register for the class.
